The only termites found in New York NY, Westchester County NY, Rockland County NY and in Orange County NY are subterranean termites. Subterranean termites live in decentralized nests underground, close to a food source, connected by tunnels and mud tubes. It costs homeowners billions of dollars annually to prevent, control and repair termite damage. Termites have a nonstop appetite for cellulose materials, which include wood products, trees, firewood, drywall paper, cardboard, paper and cotton fabric. Only mature colonies, those established and growing for years, produce swarming termites (winged reproductive termites).
We Offer a few different Termite Treatments. Dependent on what the EPA allows for your area.
Liquid soil-applied Termiticides
We will drill every 12 inches around your Home or Business and inject Phantom Termiticide. The objective of applying Phantom Termiticide to soil is to provide an unbroken chemical barrier between the wood in the structure and termite colonies in the soil. Thus, the insecticide will be applied thoroughly and uniformly by our Termite Technicians to block all routes of termite entry. Each hole drilled will be patched with matching Concrete and or Asphalt.
Termite Wood Treatment Indoors
We will drill small holes into infected and non-infected wood 6 inches apart starting at the very bottom of the wood and inject Bora Care, this will kill termites and prevent future termites from damaging the wood. Severely Infested damaged wood should be replaced. Our Termite Technician will point out wood that needs to be replaced.
Advanced Termite Bait System
Where the Liquid soil-applied termiticide option is not available we utilize the Advance Termite Bait System. The dual-stage monitoring, and baiting process features an ultra-low disturbance design that patterns termites’ natural feeding behavior. ATBS features one of the largest containerized bait loads available, allowing for maximum bait to be fed to the colony in a shorter time. Termites take to the bait quicker, stay in the station longer and feed more aggressively. The termites take the bait back to the colony and over a short period of time the colony will be eliminated. The Videos below show a great example of how Termite Bait Stations are installed and how they work.
